Last year, we were amazed at your generosity! Because of you, we were able to continue to provide an excellent Christian education for our students. This year, we’ve been able to offer new courses, expand our classroom spaces, hire new faculty and staff, and even create more experiences for your students and an additional 225 new students!
Join us this year for our Season of Giving
On Tuesday, November 29, 2022, students, faculty, staff, and friends are coming together to make a gift to FCS on Giving Tuesday. Last year, we raised $256,028 from 200 donors. This year, we’re aiming even higher with a goal of $275,000 from 300 donors!
Matching Gifts – Multiply the Impact of Your Donation
Did you know that many companies match donations by employees to our organization?
Make your gift to FCS go further with the help of your employer.
If your employer sponsors a matching gift program, you can easily multiply the impact of your gift. When your gift is matched, the amount goes toward the same program that your initial donation sponsored.
Participating companies will match employee gifts dollar for dollar. Some will even double or triple your gift.

Children’s Tuition Fund (CTF)
Has God put it on your heart to minister to families who face financial barriers to Christian education again this year?
Because of generous donations to the Children’s Tuition Fund, FCS was able to award $383,208 in scholarships to 26 students last school year and 45 students this school year. These individuals may not have been able to attend FCS otherwise.
We continue to see a great need for tuition assistance at FCS and ask that you prayerfully consider a gift to the Children’s Tuition Fund.

Where do the tax credits come from?
- The Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) Program legislation of 2012 established tax credits for Virginia-based corporations, businesses, and individuals that contribute to approved scholarship organizations.
- These tax credits can be applied to various eligible taxes.
What donations qualify?
- Individual contributions must be at least $500 to qualify for the tax credit program and a maximum of $125,000 in a taxable year. This limitation does not apply to credits issued to any business entity, including a sole proprietorship.

Annual Fund
Fredericksburg Christian School’s annual income is derived from two primary sources—Tuition & Fees and Annual Donations & Fundraisers. Our annual donations and fundraisers allow us to further invest in educational enhancements in a variety of areas: academics, financial aid for special programs, fine arts, facility improvements and athletics.
The success of the Annual Fund is evidence of our common, strong belief in Fredericksburg Christian School and our continuing mission of excellence: developing Christ-like character in young people.
Events & Fundraisers
Fundraising happens at FCS between July 1 and June 30 of each year, and involves our entire student body as well as distinct clubs and groups. Be on the lookout for invitations to our events, including the Eagle Classic Golf Tournament, the Founders Banquet, Family Fun Day and the Boosterthon Fun-Run. We have numerous opportunities for our families to support FCS–many without spending any extra money. Of course, none of these events achieve their success each year without the time and dedication of our staff, volunteer parents, grandparents and friends.
