Your support has made all the difference.
Fredericksburg Christian School (FCS) launched a capital campaign in the summer of 2016 for their elementary school building fund. The proposed site for the new building is located on the school’s property on Thornton Rolling Road, located off of Route 17 in Spotsylvania, adjacent to the FCS Upper School Campus. With a goal of $2,030,000, the capital campaign – named, “Timeless Values. Tomorrow’s Leaders.” – has become the foundation for this exciting project as FCS moves forward and embraces what is to come. At our campaign celebration dinner (March 29, 2018), the students revealed on that night that we had raised $2,050,101 and had exceeded the goal.
Fredericksburg Christian School’s annual income is derived from two primary sources—Tuition & Fees and Annual Donations & Fundraisers. Our annual donations and fundraisers allow us to further invest in educational enhancements in a variety of areas: academics, financial aid for special programs, fine arts, facility improvements and athletics.
The success of the Annual Fund is evidence of our common, strong belief in Fredericksburg Christian School and our continuing mission of excellence: developing Christ-like character in young people.
Events & Fundraisers
Fundraising happens at FCS between July 1 and June 30 of each year, and involves our entire student body as well as distinct clubs and groups. Be on the lookout for invitations to our events, including the Eagle Classic Golf Tournament, the Founders Banquet, Family Fun Day and the Boosterthon Fun-Run. We have numerous opportunities for our families to support FCS–many without spending any extra money. Of course, none of these events achieve their success each year without the time and dedication of our staff, volunteer parents, grandparents and friends.
The Difference Your Giving Makes
Please take a moment to review the ACSI Report on the Cardus Education Survey highlighting the main findings of graduates who attend ACSI accredited schools such as FCS. This in-depth research demonstrates that Christian education is worth the effort, and it truly offers a unique impact on students, more than any other form of education.
