Fredericksburg Christian School welcomes students and families from a wide circle all over Spotsylvania County. We’re known here as a respected private Christian school serving Pre-K-12 students with a strong academic program and commitment to the values and priorities of our faith.
Our combined campus of the upper and lower schools is situated in the northeast corner of Spotsylvania. The upper and lower schools are just south of Highway 17 and east of Interstate 95, a short 15-minute drive from downtown Fredericksburg.
Our location makes our campus easily accessible, and a smooth commute for families from Fredericksburg, Thornburg, Chancellorsville, Spotsylvania Courthouse, and other nearby communities in central and western parts of the county.

Located immediately south of Fredericksburg, and just equidistant from Washington, D.C. to the north and Richmond to the south, Spotsylvania is home to more and more young families and commuters. Our proximity to the I-95 corridor, in particular, means parents can coordinate drop off, pick up, and attendance at school events with relative ease. From Fredericksburg: Take US-17 Business South/Dixon Street to Jim Morris Road. Turn right. In 1.5 miles, continue onto Thornton Rolling Road. In .6 miles, turn right, and the FCS campus will be on your right.
From Thornburg: Take State Route 606 to State Route 609. Turn left. In 3.8 miles, continue onto Thornton Rolling Road. In 1 mile, turn left, and the FCS campus will be on your right.
From Chancellorsville: Drive east on VA-3 and merge onto I-95. In 4 miles, take Exit 126 toward Spotsylvania. Merge onto US-1/US-17 S. In .8 miles, turn left onto US-17 S. In 4.5 miles, turn right onto Thornton Rolling Road. In .6 miles, turn right, and the FCS campus will be on your right.
