Leadership Team

Rick Yost

Head of School

Rick Yost has served FCS since 1997. He attended Virginia Tech and then received his M.Ed. at Regent University. He is married to Sherry, who worked at FCS for 30 years, teaching Kindergarten for three years, and Upper School Art for 24 of those years. They have two kids and eight grandchildren, two of whom currently attend FCS. Rick attends Grace Church of Fredericksburg.

David DeArmas

Middle School Principal

David DeArmas attended University of Connecticut and then earned his Master’s in Educational Leadership at Regent University. He and his wife Lauren have been married for over twenty years and have two children. Brianna graduated from FCS in 2023 and attends Liberty University. Their son Christian is in the Class of 2025 at FCS. They attend Spotswood Baptist Church.

Anthony DiBlasi

Operations Director

Anthony served our country as a Lieutenant Commander (Ret), US Navy Intelligence. He attended Auburn University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Communications. Anthony and his wife, Elizabeth, have been married for over 20 years and have three children: Isabelle, who graduated from FCS in 2024; and John Parker and Jackson Taft, who are currently attending FCS. He and his family attend Revive Church of Fredericksburg.

Krissy Donahoe

Admissions Director

Krissy Donahoe attended Mary Washington College where she studied English and Secondary Education. She then received her Masters in Organizational Leadership from Southeastern University. She is married to Noland and has two sons, Landon and Rhys, who attend FCS. They attend Salem Fields Community Church.

Amanda Kaeser

Financial Director

Amanda Kaeser graduated from Christopher Newport University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Minor in Leadership. She is married to her husband Kyle and they have a daughter, Riley who attends FCS. They also have two rescue dogs. They attend Redeemer Bible Church. In addition to being an FCS Eagles fan, Amanda is also an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan.

Brian King

IT Director

Brian King attended Houghton College with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science & Communication. He then received his Master of Education in Instructional Design & Technology from Regent University. He has been married to his wife Emily, FCS lower school librarian, for over 20 years. They have a son, Noah. They attend Ferry Farm Baptist Church.

Jessica Meade

Lower School Principal

Jessica Meade has served both as a classroom teacher and as coordinator of our Resource Department, and has a passion for supporting students who learn differently. She has a Master’s Degree in Developmental Psychology from Liberty University and is working toward a second Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Mrs. Meade is the wife of Quincy, and mom of two boys. Nicholas is an FCS graduate who is studying at Liberty University, and Charles Fielding attends FCS. They attend Grace Church of Fredericksburg.

Suzie Medina

Development Director

Suzie Medina attended Eastern University with a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing and Communication and a minor in business. She is an alumnus of FCS, Class of 1998. She is married to Michael and have twin girls, Becca and Kathryn, who are in the Class of 2025 at FCS. They attend Redeemer Bible Church.

Sharon Roper

High School Principal

Sharon Roper attended Lancaster Bible College and then earned her Master’s Degree in Education at Regent University. She comes from a strong family of Christian educators who have dedicated themselves to the Lord by raising up Christian leaders for life. Dean Roper has served FCS for 35 years and attends Spotswood Baptist Church.

Laura Van Hulzen

Director of Curriculum & Instruction

Laura Van Hulzen attended Trinity Christian College. She received her M.A. at Point Loma University. She is married to Jim, also known as Mr. V.H., our high school history teacher. They attend Grace Community Church in Mechanicsville.
