Our Upper School Guidance builds partnerships with students and parents to support life and career planning. We work together with school personnel, parents, pastors, and students. Emphasis is put on developing the student’s God-given talents and abilities, discovering how to plan for a future that will fulfill the Lord’s mission in this world.

The guidance department oversees these services:

  • Student and parent orientation
  • Student placement
  • Scheduling of classes
  • Student academic records
  • Special services for students
  • Advanced Placement coordination
  • Scholarship awareness
  • Academic and leadership summer enrichment opportunities
  • Standardized testing
  • College and career planning

By providing conferences for students and parents, the high school program can be better individualized. Fredericksburg Christian High School is a strong college-preparatory academic program, which prepares its students for competitive college admissions, community leadership, and service.
