About Us

Welcome to Fredericksburg Christian School

The most critical moment of learning in the life of a child is right now. And this afternoon. And next week. And next  year.

Our children are constantly learning—both inside and outside the classroom. As parents and teachers, we must constantly mold their education. If you stop any staff member in an FCS hallway, you’re as likely to hear their excitement over technology integration or AP Biology as you are about students serving the elderly in an afternoon field trip. In Deuteronomy, God tells us to teach our children at all times. As teachers, we strive to continue the work you’re doing at home here in the classroom. We teach about Math and History in the classroom; about healthy relationships at recess; about endurance and teamwork on the soccer field; and about God and His Kingdom all day long.

This is what you sign up for when you join the FCS family. You’re gaining a partnership in the crucial education process. Come and be a part of building Christian leadership in the Kingdom, and in your child.

Our Two Campuses

Our two campuses stretch across the region and, combined, serve Pre-K3 through 12th grade. Our Lower School works with Pre-K3 through 5th grade and our Upper School is dedicated to 6th through 12th. Both are located in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

Our campuses stay busy, with athletic and fine arts events all year long. Plus, with clubs, spirit nights, camps, mission trips, service outings, competitions, and so many other opportunities for getting involved, we end up with a lot of photos.

Parent Teacher Partnership

With such a small class size – 18 students on average – our teachers build strong mentoring relationships with each student. Our teachers form partnerships with every parent; we want the values being taught at home lived out in the classroom.

What Our Parents Say

“An Extended Family”

FCS Preschool has been more to my family than just a place to send my son for education. It has been another home with an extended family to cry, smile, pray, and grow with.

“Each Teacher Cared for the Kids”

We were struck by how much each teacher cared for the kids and how why want to provide a nurturing, stimulating, educational environment for them.
